This is mostly unrelated but it's not that hard to not make the characters look like sixteen year olds... That would make it less weird.
And no it's not just the art style, I'm an artist myself and there are ways to make characters not look juvenile even with cartoony/anime artstyles (like more anatomically correct proportions in comparison to younger characters, smaller eyes further apart, etc.)
Tbh people can play whatever they want, it's not really my business, but this game in particular is kinda questionable imo for a couple reasons:
-The whole massage thing that the main character is drawing some kind of sexual undertone from is..kinda weird? This clearly isn't meant to be an inherently sexual massage and having someone think dirty thoughts about you while touching your body is just...ew.
-The name thing is sus and then changing it without saying anything implies they knew or realized it was wrong and tries to fix it covertly
-This is very likely just a me thing but the character still kinda look like teenagers? I don't know if it's just the facial features but it's kind of off putting to me.
And no I didn't plan on buying this but that doesn't mean I don't have the right to state my opinion. Free speech and all that, right guys?
As far as I can tell, it's basically Warrior Cats the (copyright-neutral) game which is fun for me, and just from this article (and the cattails review) I can tell that it has a lot of subtle allusions to Warriors lore
@lolwhatno @Snatcher Thanks for the clarification, was curious as I don't play or follow these types of games and therefore don't have a sufficiently educated opinion on them.
Is the primary reason that in the comments upset because even though the characters are older (but still passing off as minors according to @Snatcher's comment) they're being drawn like children? (albeit with excessive cleavage.)
(mainly trying to discern whether the problem is with the implied fan service aspect or the fact that the characters resemble children)
If they're gonna make gamer-friendly foods, why wouldn't you invent a new food with the 'gamer' branding? (like crackers or something, I dunno-) Makes more sense than marketing existing foods to us like we're a sub-class of society.
I'm sure more people would be fine with this if Nintendo just fixed Joy Con drift. I can't catch Pokemon properly in Legends if I keep drifting out of the tall grass.
This is unsurprising, but even if Kotick leaves, the culture at Activision still needs to change drastically. Hopefully Microsoft will address that bit-

Re: Feature: Every Pokémon Game Narrative, Ranked From Best To Worst
I haven't played any Gen 5 games (can't find any for a decent price and don't want to hack my 3ds) so I'll have to say Gen 3.
The manga's version of Red & Blue hold a special place in my heart as well because it's more authentic to what Pokemon was meant to be

Minecraft on the Xbox 360!
Re: Poll: Pokémon Scarlet Or Violet - Which Will You Choose?
I'm going with Violet!
Re: Random: Sonic The Hedgehog's "Ugly" Design Makes A Cameo In The New Chip N' Dale Movie
The movie was really fun, definitely one of the most meta films Disney has made

My time has come 🐈⬛
Re: A New Pokémon X Converse Range Is Coming To Stores In Japan
These are all pretty cool, but I prefer the collection that came out around January.
Mostly because of the custom aspect (mine are grey and red w Kanto and Alola starters) but I think the others just look cooler.
Re: Datamine Reveals What Pokémon Unite Might Add In The Future
@Fizza 👌🏽
(filler nonsense, hopefully this'll be long enough)
Re: Man Dies Following An Incident Involving Stolen Pokémon Cards
These, unfortunately, are the things that happen when your police force originates from vigilantes...
Not to mention the rampant systematic issues with the legal system in general, but I digress.
Re: Mini Review: Waifu Impact - Single-Player 'Fortnite With Fan Service', Minus The Fun
As long as fanservice is popular, there's going to be games that are very clearly pandering to lovers of fanservice.
Exploiting people's desires to get money isn't a new thing.

Just a question:

Re: Feature: 7 Reasons For Picking Starter Pokémon, But How Do You Pick Yours?
I plan to pick Sprigatito granted they don't make the final stages bipedal- (please just let the cat walk on four legs)
Re: Microsoft 'Close' To Sacking Senior Dev Who Assaulted 7-Year-Old Son For Refusing To Stop Playing His Switch
@durrdevil I didn't disagree with your sentiment, I just found the remark unnecessary considering the context.
Re: Random: 'Nintendo Generation' Skeletons Aren't Tough Enough, Says US Army Major
@smithyo Probably the decrease in daily physical labor and the increase in sedentary jobs over the last 100 years or so.
Re: Microsoft 'Close' To Sacking Senior Dev Who Assaulted 7-Year-Old Son For Refusing To Stop Playing His Switch
@durrdevil This man choked his son for playing a Switch. The legality of unlawful assault has nothing to do with your opinion on parental discipline.
Re: Microsoft 'Close' To Sacking Senior Dev Who Assaulted 7-Year-Old Son For Refusing To Stop Playing His Switch
@Giancarlothomaz Those are all viable options, but unfortunately, common sense rarely is common.
Re: Microsoft 'Close' To Sacking Senior Dev Who Assaulted 7-Year-Old Son For Refusing To Stop Playing His Switch
A wonderful example of the subjectivity of legality in action.
Pirate some software? You get jail and 15mil in fines.
Almost murder someone-- a child, no less, for playing video games and 'almost' get sacked.

@Burning_Spear That's way funnier than it should be, unfortunately.

I caught an Alpha Hisuian Sligoo and evolved it..he's a very big boy.
Re: US Government Wants Nintendo Hacker Gary Bowser Locked Up For Five Years
I'm still amazed at the fact his last name is Bowser.

I just got a silver 25th anniversary Bulbasaur for $12, haha

Re: Nintendo Switch Was 2021's Best-Selling Console In Europe, The US And Japan
@Giancarlothomaz It probably will, to be honest, especially if we keep getting good quality Nintendo exclusives.
Re: You Can Now Catch Hisuian Voltorb In Pokémon GO
Welp, logged onto Pokemon to go get a Hisuian Voltorb and caught a shiny Kantonian one. Figures.
Re: Soapbox: Pokémon Legends: Arceus Raises The Question - How Much Do Janky Graphics Matter?
To me it looks fine, but if you're playing a Pokemon game for graphics, I don't know what to tell you
Re: Ubisoft: Players "Don't Get" What Makes NFTs So Beneficial
"Oh, you guys don't like NFT's?"
"You just don't get it."
A very condescending and indirect answer, but okay...

I've been playing Splatoon 2 and Happy Home Paradise, but Pokemon Legends is on my list.

Re: Konami Sold This Castlevania Pixel Art For Over $26K In Its 'Memorial' NFT Auction
You could've spent 26k on something a whole lot better than some pixel art...like a painting or something that you actually own. 🤔
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 15th)
I'll likely just be playing Among Us since Arceus is the main game on my list for the moment, but I'll likely be on Happy Home Paradise as well.
