Re: Players Need To Start "Feeling Comfortable" With Not Owning Games, Says Ubisoft Subs Boss

Being an Old School Gamer and the proud owner of dozens of legacy systems and games, there is something to be said about ownership. However, Software (or Games) as A Service is a thing that companies like Ubisoft have been pushing since the first online "verification" server. "Owning" a physical game means nothing if it needs an ACTIVE internet connection to "verify it" with a server that will eventually be decommissioned by said Gaming Company. Give me my backlog of physical Atari, Intellivision, Colecovision, SNES, PS2, GameCube games (to name a few) any day. Bonus: Most are worth $$$ to collectors and the like.
