Awesome. I'll probably stick with default Villager, but not offering female skins would have run against the philosophy of Animal Crossing.

@outburst Exclusion is a very valid discussion. The heteronormality makes it pretty clear what Nintendo's official stance is on same-sex relations, whether it is due to their investors or otherwise. It certainly doesn't hurt straight people to put it in, but excluding it does hurt queer folk.

Bummer. The trailer was uninspiring, but I was really hoping this game would be okay.

The Wii U could always do with more five player games.

It will depend on marketing to a degree, but if the intention of this is to hook in the casual consumers that previously purchased Wiis for Wii Fit, how are they going to prove that Wii Fit U is different enough to warrant splashing hundreds of dollars on a new console?

I was having a lot of fun corresponding with overseas friends, so I'm pretty bummed to hear about this. Hopefully Nintendo resumes service at a later date.

I'm curious as to how this one stands up as a comparison to the original Wii Party. The trailer looked very stylish, but this review killed my enthusiasm somewhat.

Does anybody know the nature of the limitations on Download Play mutliplayer?
