Interestingly enough.... I had joy con drift and replaced the analog sticks.
2 weeks later, they started to drift worse.
I though “hmmm, I wonder” and put the original sticks back in and for some reason they haven’t drifted yet!
People have been thinking there’s wear and tear inside the analog stick’s housing but if that was the case then this old stick should still drift? Right?
I’m beginning to think it’s a defective connector / ribbon. Design flaw that makes them slither out slightly. More investigation in my workshop as soon as they start drifting again.
The resolution on this is shocking. The 3DS version had a more consistent resolution. Makes me really sad that this isn’t even a smooth 720 when DOCKED.
