Re: You're Gonna Need Wii MotionPlus To Enjoy Red Steel 2

Stevie

@ stuffgamer - i posted a few weeks back with an idea that for some games you could use 2 x wii remotes instead of 1 + nunchuck, Ubisoft may aswell go crazy and require every person that buys the game to own 2 x Wiimotes both with motion plus & add balance board requirement just for good measure

Re: Namco Bandai Turns Up The Heat With Cook Or Be Cooked

Stevie

I have found some leaked information from a reliable sauce that the follow up will be called Food Network: Student Edition, and will involve mastering the art of beans on toast, making Pot Noodle sandwiches and for the final boss reheating last nights Pizza.

Re: Toss Some Tuna in Sega's Wacky World of Sports

Stevie

Seriously, it this what it has come too, there are so many sport compilation games that these are the only sports not yet Wii-ified(New word i invented) ?

Oh well, at least if it is Sega it should be one of the better ones

Re: Bit.Trip Beat Coming to Europe on Friday

Stevie

@ Dazza - HaHa

Hopefully this is a good thing and we will get 3 x Wiiware and 3 X Virtual console releases on Friday like Nintendo's spoilt child (Japan), followed by Hanabi starting on bank holiday Monday with 8 release's...

Re: Mr. T and Will Wright Vs. The Nazis?

Stevie

"The first game will see Mr. T take on Nazis and their gigantic machines in the varied universe of South American rain forests, lost ancient cities, industrial complexes and contemporary military installations."

MR.T fighting Nazi's in the South Amemican rain forest... I'll have some of whatever these guys are taking.

Re: Little King's Story available from Club Nintendo

Stevie

I have bought Nunchucks/Classic controllers from amazon/play + not recieved any voucher for club Nintendo + i was under the illusion that with all official Nintedo products you recieved some stars, so as there are not many official Nintendo games for the Wii and you can only register each type of product once (eg only 1 Wii) i find it hard to come across stars

Is there more going about with DS stuff (ie more official games) as i haven't had a portible gaming machine since Gameboy Pocket

It is a good offer though, especially when you take into account Starwolf_UK's point about it being equivelent to 1250 Wii Points (that is all i have used my stars for)

(edit) Is that true you get points for VC/Wiiware downloads, if so i'll be due a fair amount???

Re: Review: Little King's Story (Wii)

Stevie

This has gone from a 90% chance of purchase to 100%, I have been looking forward to this game and will be getting this and Pikmin 2.

Infact this is the first time since i bought my Wii that the games have been coming out faster than i can buy them what with this, Pikmin 2, Punchout!!, Boom Blox 2 and The Conduit - along with any VC/Wiiware releases

Who said there were not enough good releases for the Wii???

Re: WiiWare Games Now Available On Amazon

Stevie

More options for the consumer is never a bad thing although its something i probably wouldn't use myself. Spare points do not bother me, im happy enough to save them for future purchases.

Stevie

Re: Is Game Design Art? Great Designers Say 'Not Really'

Stevie

I would agree that games are not made to "be art" but some games are a form of art in one way or another. Okami is art in motion, and classic images such as mario are so popular (t-shirts,mugs,prints etc.) that i would class them as a form of art too.

Also what about Mario Paint, that is art

Re: Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

Stevie

I would imagine if this is coming to wiiware then Nintendo would most likely release FFIV to the VC a few weeks before to drum up some interest, this seems to be the trend as with Super Punchout, Megaman 2 etc... I will look forward to the release of both in the EU (fingers crossed)

Re: Review: Texas Hold'em Tournament (WiiWare)

Stevie

I played this again last night and touch wood managed to play 6 or 7 games without any issues connecting/freezing/lag + had quite some fun in the process. As mentioned above sometimes it could take upto 10-15mins to find a match but hopefully this will speed up as more people get the game + if it is released in America

p.s my name on poker is Zombie

Re: Review: Texas Hold'em Tournament (WiiWare)

Stevie

@Ouazegaga > I will try this when i finish work in 1/2 hour, this is a bit annoying but i have found nintendo wifi to be unstable before with bomberman blast, however a match on bomberman blast is 5 mins, a game of poker can last a hour, there will be wiimote shaped holes in my wall if it disconects me when i am heads up after 50mins play!!! Thats if i can start a game
