@impurekind I know exactly how it was done Mario Kart had the benefit of the custom extra CPU to control the Mode 7 but in Street Racer I did not have that chip so I had to come up with a way to achieve the result without using all the CPU power, I did that by computing a custom lookup tables for each scan line that had the precomputed transform maths which I could then lookup and combine as required to recreate the custom views. This worked so well it allowed me to not only do 2 player modes but 4 players as well. It was impossible to to do four corners for the 4 player mode as the SNES could just not do that in Mode 7 mode. When the game was released we got an invite from Nintendo to go to their office to explain how I did with no Custom CPU what they needed one to do and also how we squeezed the whole game into an 8Mbit cartridge where Mario Kart need a 16Mbit one, they didn't think it was possible.
