Re: Atlus Cancels "Final" 3DS Game Sale Ahead Of eShop Closure

SpiritOfTheHero

@OdnetninAges In trouble with who? Nintendo?? I ain't trying to hear that. It's there products they can do whatever they want at any given time. They deliberately chose to cancel this sale because they didn't think it was profitable enough to do it. That's the reason right there and they'll never admit to it the greedy pigs.

Re: Atlus Cancels "Final" 3DS Game Sale Ahead Of eShop Closure

SpiritOfTheHero

Given the amount of games Atlus has on the Nintendo 3DS E-Shop that has skyrocketed in value in physical release this is really f*cked up. With the kind of money they make they lose absolutely NOTHING in holding this sale. So I hope the Japanese fans tear them a new one for this absolutely appalling behavior.

Re: Legend Of Zelda Fans Accuse Indie Game Of "Ripping-Off" Link's Awakening

We all know the phrase "Imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery" however "Mysplaced" falls almost a little too comfortably between "Imitation" and "Plagiarism." And from my eyes it almost looks like there blatantly taunting Nintendo to sue and I expect Nintendo will.

And contrary to what some might believe Nintendo can't sue for the top down perspective but they absolutely can for everything else. Yeah Nintendo has sued people for less but in this particular situation they have every right to because let's be real here people this is a blatant copy and paste.

Re: Reggie Talks About NoA Union Issues: "This Isn't The Nintendo That I Left"

SpiritOfTheHero

Now correct me if I'm wrong but did Reggie Fils-Aimé choose Doug Bowser as his successor after he retired as President of Nintendo Of America? Because if he did I would like to think anything that's happening now within the company under Doug Bowser would affect him in some way right?? Because in the nicest way possible he sounds less then thrilled about these reports like many of us are.

Re: Embracer Group To Acquire Crystal Dynamics, Square Enix Montréal, Eidos-Montréal, Plus IPs For $300 Million

"The Transaction enables the launch of new businesses by moving forward with investments in fields including blockchain, AI, and the cloud."

That entire sentence perfectly describes how tone deaf and self-servicing Square-Enix has become. The large majority of gamers (Myself Included) don't want anything to do with NFTs, Blockchain, AI and Cloud none of us asked for that or even wanted it.

This reeks of exploitation which given what we have now with cut content being sold as DLC, Loot Boxes, Micro-Transactions, Roadmaps, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Limited, Collector's Editions. Do they honestly think we believe the BS there shilling about this being developed for our benefit!?

Re: Square Enix Says A Console Version Of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Depends On Demand

SpiritOfTheHero

Square-Enix is so full of it let me give you the REAL reason why they didn't port the Pixel Remasters on console...

Because it was cheaper to do it on PC and Mobile over Console. That's it that's the reason right there in one sentence.

However let's not forget the absurd amount of time and money there putting into milking Final Fantasy VII for every dime it's worth. Because they'll do that in a heartbeat no questions asked. But apparently they need to gauge "Fan Demand" for something that should be obvious. My god the cognitive dissonance of this company is staggering!

Re: Bravely Default II Is No Longer A Nintendo Switch Exclusive

SpiritOfTheHero

I'm mixed about this because the Bravely series has always been an exclusive Nintendo IP. However on the flip side I can see the positivity in porting it to another platform strictly for the added exposure it would bring the series. Then again this being a "Sequel" of sorts from the 3DS releases I don't know if it would sell as well. Did the Steam port of Octopath Traveler sell well on Steam over the original Switch port?

Re: The Fan-Made 2D Metroid Prime Game Has Been Forced To Shut Down

SpiritOfTheHero

With the announcement of Metroid: Dread all eyes are on Nintendo and the Metroid license so this was definitely not going to fly under the radar. So with that being said it's hard to feel sorry for them because there timing couldn't be anymore worse. I don't blame Nintendo for issuing the C&D hell I probably would have done it too if it was something I owned.
