Macbat 64 definitely burned me too, so I'm holding off a buy 'til I hear more judgement. I'm fine with short games at low prices, just felt that Macbat was exceptionally underdeveloped (the Kiwi 64 Easter Egg also consistently crashed or soft-locked for me).
I picked up Spore Creatures a couple months ago on impulse, and as suspected, it has a lot in common with this title! It definitely uses the same engine for the overworld exploration.
EDIT: Just did some cursory research - it looks like EA handed Spore Creatures over to Griptonite (a popular choice for handheld adaptations of console titles), whilst Full Fat were responsible for the following year's game, Spore Hero Arena! I wonder how much overlap there was between all these projects.
So - we know that the Switch Lite doesn't support HD Rumble, but does it have any rumble functionality at all? Does it have the sharp jolt of a 'mobile phone' vibration (akin to the Wii U GamePad), or is it more subtle?
I saw that StreetPass Quest II has a feature called 'Helper Hare' now as well... no idea if it's related to this update or not but I never noticed it before. Seems like it could be pretty useful, helping to anticipate poison rooms that you don't see coming and point out treasures you haven't collected.
I did have the right amount of stars, but a few were due to expire at the end of the month so I spent them on the Kirby Triple Deluxe OST just yesterday... ah well. At least this is a light at the end of the tunnel for any future rewards appearing!
Such a fantastic console! I'm only a wee teenager now so I never experienced the thing during its heyday, but the fact that it was the last home console to run on the aging cartridge format always intrigued me. I've been collecting for over 2 years now (28 games strong, with Star Fox 64 my top pick) and my appetite for the '64 is more voracious than ever! I'd argue it's never been beaten in terms of a truly gripping multiplayer experience, and so many games pushed the thing to its extremes, particularly near the end. Long live the King!
@Webby-sama Well said! Besides, we've already endured some much longer delays before with this game - a few more weeks on top of that isn't much to ask.

Re: Eccentric Indie Developer, Onion Games, Wants To Know What You Think They Should Make Next
I'd loooove to finally play Chulip. Looks like a great intersection of design philosophies between Animal Crossing and Chibi-Robo.

Re: The 90's Arcade Racer
So wait, what happened to this? All the sources I can find say it was supposed to come out in December...

@TwilightV
Of course! Haven't you seen the hit movie 'Red Toads Can't Jump'?
