This game BROKE MY HEART! Simply put I was so hyped by this game. And when it came out...it just got annoying. If anyone remembers that ancient avgn episode with ikari warriors that's how this game feels. At first the constant game overs were a patience test but... I'm a bit into the game and I've only had one extra heart, no weapons or armour upgrades, I'm not even advancing in skill and the constant dying has become tedious. So much love went into this game and I was looking forward for a Zelda style adventure but it's just not fun and it's clearly meant to be. I want to like this game but it's a chore. So I just had to give up. Thus my heart is broken over the love I had following the progress over its delayed development only to give up in frustration
...or they could have made a Zelda style game instead! God I'm so sick or wanting more Zelda style gameplay but finding other developers making it appear similar only to add stressful or buttonmashing or annoying gameplay instead. Dude just give us escapism gameplay where we can explore, attack enemies without health bars, no random battles, no button mashing ***** battles, ignore crappy experience points crap, upgrade equipment as we go and just enjoy the story. Is that so hard?
@Darkyoshi98 Basic product design and marketing. An item needs to be clearly marked and distinguished from another otherwise people will just pick up the wrong item. This should never have been an issue.
@MysticX Yeah I agree with you there. But also the fact that they now have to go out of their way to "correct" people and have to deal with all the complaints is kinda planning
@Tendogamerxxx like I said in my comment they could have become something but instead went in a weird direction of gimics and fan service that pleased no fans
I think sonic in 3D could be great. My first experience of it was sonic adventure 2 and the sonic levels felt like an adrenaline fuelled rollercoaster with interaction.
Why have they moved on from that? Why all these gimics? Why not just fix gliches and bugs and give us that rollercoaster feeling of finishing each level with a buzz?
The gameplay was there (in the sonic levels) it just wasn't finished.
