@Dezzy You can use the ABXY buttons for shooting instead of the second stick. I prefer that to using the second stick on PC, so will do the same on (New) 3DS.
I doubt the C-nipple would be good enough for decent play in this game.
Hopefully the game won't suffer with the frame loss that the Vita version has occasionally.
@Moose_4 I still had some reward points to use, so I was able to get it for just over £20.
If it was only me looking forward to playing I would have waited until new year and bought from elsewhere, but my eldest daughter has been excited to play this. Having it early means she gets to play it over christmas break.
Plus, with my reward points now spent, there's less temptation to order from GAME in future.
While I understand Nintendo's decision to not bundle too many releases together on the same week, it was a bit of a stupid idea to ship this after christmas in Europe.
It's not going to be a huge seller like Pokémon or Smash, but there are a lot of people waiting for this game and it would be a nice little last-minute cash boost for Nintendo before the holiday period.
I'm glad to see that it's getting an earlier release, but I'm sad that it means I have to give GAME more of my custom.
After seeing people saying they had received shipping emails from GAME I decided to place a pre-order last night. I got my shipping email from them this morning.
This is why I don't like the fact that Nintendo are charging for DLC. A statement from 2011:
"'I've had this conversation with a number of our key developers, and their mentality is, "Reggie, when we sell a game, we want the consumer to feel that they've had a complete experience." Now, in addition, if we want to make other things available, great, and we'll look at that. But what we're unwilling to do is sell a piece of a game upfront and, if you will, force a consumer to buy more later. That's what they don't want to do, and I completely agree. I think the consumer wants to get, for their money, a complete experience, and then we have opportunities to provide more on top of that."
While it may not be forced, it's going against Nintendo's core values of what they want to provide their customers. It is Nintendo that are being forced down this path by the unfortunate turn of the gaming industry.
I've just updated my firmware to v6 (I have a Zelda edition 3DS) and then updated the Streetpass Plaza - it crashed for me the first time I launched it. The plaza itself is now working, as are the original games, but if I try to view any of the new ones in the store it locks up and crashes the app.
Just updated a second 3DS - standard black model - and that's doing the exact same thing.
I'll wait to see some screenshots and reviews before I buy any. It will be nice to have more to do when I get a streetpass hit as all I do now is check for puzzle pieces, but it seems a little expensive unless there's a lot to do.
I don't like this new direction Nintendo are taking with DLC.
They were always the one developer that I could rely on to provide quality content without getting greedy and now they're throwing out DLC all over the place. It's a slippery slope and they're starting to slide.

Honourable surely, rather than honorary?

Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Official Soundtrack Returns to Club Nintendo in Europe
@Tsurii897 Sadly that will probably be the case. I was just pointing out that it isn't too late for them to add them, like someone mentioned above.
It would be nice to see them though, as a nice farewell gesture.
Hopefully the replacement for CN will be equal worldwide, so there's no better offers in different regions again.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Official Soundtrack Returns to Club Nintendo in Europe
@Jenraux They added games to the US Club Nintendo and theirs closes before ours does, so I don't see why they can't add games to the EU store.
Re: 3DS System Update, 9.5.0-23, Goes Live and Brings Unprecedented Stability
I wouldn't be surprised if this was patching out the browser exploit that people are using with Pokémon Shuffle and ORAS.
Re: GAME's Zelda: Majora's Mask Pre-Order Bonus Is Going To Go Down Well With Office Workers
I'd rather order elsewhere and not give GAME any custom - crappy paperweight or not.

Re: StreetPass Mii Plaza Update Brings New Paid Downloadable Games
@Maustallica I'm referring to DLC in general with Nintendo, not just the Streetpass content.

Re: StreetPass Mii Plaza Update Brings New Paid Downloadable Games
@sikthvash Same here. I got all the pink pieces thanks to the 6 or 7 visitors I got from Nintendo people via Spotpass.
Re: StreetPass Mii Plaza Update Brings New Paid Downloadable Games
@sikthvash My daughter just got a piece for New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U, so looks like there may be 3 new puzzles.
Re: StreetPass Mii Plaza Update Brings New Paid Downloadable Games
@sikthvash - Xenoblade puzzle panel? I take it that's a regional exclusive as I got Skyward Sword this morning.
