As a follow-up to my previous comment, backwards compatibilty would be important too for DS games that connected with GBA games, so a GBA slot (even if it doesn't run GB or GBC Game Paks) would be awesome!
Also DS wireless/wi-fi connectivity would be pretty important, I guess.
PLEASE can we get something like this that runs ACTUAL DS (or maybe even 3DS) games? I have no interest in emulating anything. A Shiny Pikachu on an emulator is just a kick in the teeth as far as I'm concerned. Congrats, you got a Shiny, but not really and you can't send it anywhere.
I wanna be able to play my old DS game save files on a proper OLED screen, like you can with some of those unofficial consoles you can play Game Boy games on now.
I know I just bemoaned emulation in general, but game preservation is still super important to me, so bonus points if you could somehow backup your save files to the system in case the cart ever fails. I'd take a system-locked unofficial Shiny Pikachu over eventually no access to my save file at all.
