@gabrigoes I'd say it's a bit easier than Hollow Knight, with two caveats. One, I'm not done yet, and two, it might just be that Hollow Knight made me better at these games 😅 but I haven't gotten stuck anywhere for long in this one
I got this yesterday and can't put it down. I honestly don't get the hate on the map. It's better than a lot of others and at least you can zoom in pretty much to your heart's content. I also love the style throughout and don't get a big clash. There were some scenes that shocked me in a good way.
My only criticism is the music: there are some areas where it can become annoying. But outside of that, this is a contender for my favorite game of the year.
I'm a bit disappointed in Nintendo Life, to be honest. The hype for this game was way over the top - it got so much airtime since announcement; I honestly can't think of another title that's gotten similar hype from this group in recent memory. I'm shocked that it isn't an outright masterpiece. Won't be picking it up now; that's for sure.
@chiptoon I just created an account to reply to your comment. I can't believe the storytelling in this game. It is freaking intense. I haven't played another title from this studio but I was captured/challenged by the concept. I've dealt with a lot of death in my life and was convinced that nothing could faze me. The way the characters dig their hooks into your heart is completely inevitable and unlike anything I've experienced in a game before. I started getting into "management games" like this after covid because everyday stress was just too intense for me to want to turn to a complex challenging game when I'm turning off. That being said, I quit Story of Seasons after my second year in the game. This one is different. Each time I have to leave a spirit, it tears me apart, but I can't stop until I see the whole thing through the finish line.

@Friendly seriously! I'm pretty shocked. That is a small number of people moving serious mountains
