I may have a solution for the switches which don´t recognize their dock since update 5.0.
My problem was that the USB c cable could charge my switch just one way and not both and in my dock, it was the wrong way. My switch didn´t get voltage and was so unable to recognize the dock.
My solution was to open the dock an put the USB c connection point the other way in the switch. An easier solution is to buy a USB c cable extension, one end you need to put in the dock and the other end you need to connect with your switch, one way it will work and the other won´t.
