@jowe_gw Some folks these days just want to be petty -for lack of a less polite word- for the sake of it. If he's unhappy about the creators telling us explicitly what the game's deeper meaning is (a trans coming-of-age story), something that might actually help people in their daily lives, he should ignore it and move on, or make his own game and stop bothering others. @PoorGeno There is nothing to fix, being online is optional, but it's the intended way to play the game (especially that part). It also makes complete sense in the game universe. The story deals with the concept of humanity, so they want us to interact with other people, even if it's indirectly (the "recovering player bodies" element you get right from the start).
