It's green in Google Chrome because of the standard Chrome syntax highlighting. It's an HTML comment, so it appears green no matter what. The programmer has no way of controlling that. In Apple Safari, it appears grey. In Mozilla Firefox, it also appears grey. Please provide more accurate information in the future.

@MaciejKuczynski Really? I honestly hope Amiibo take no part in this game whatsoever. They're a useless cash grab that Nintendo keeps shoving down our throats and I assume they force the developers to implement them too. More and more games are becoming about these stupid toys, and I can't wait until they all are cancelled. Animal Crossing is doing perfectly fine without Amiibo, and I sincerely hope it is not considered for this title. Deep down, though, I know if an Animal Crossing Wii U game is made, it will have Amiibo. I won't buy them no matter what, but I'm sure it will be added without hesitation and will add arbitrary minimal features to the game.

@johnnyrio @Angelic_Lapras_King is right. It is pretty well known that early systems are still the consoles of choice for some indie studios. This isn't something even Nintendolife hasn't already reported on.

@unrandomsam No, parodies still must adhere to copyright law. All works must. Even if they didn't, putting in a "test" mode as you said would still be illegal, because it's rereleasing someone else's work under your own name.

I don't think it's that big a deal. I want a Zelda game that is packed with quality content. I loved Skyward Sword to death, and this game is worth the wait. Besides, lots of games are still coming out this year that we can look forward to!
On a side note, if Nintendo announces a new console and says it's only available for that, I swear I will leave Nintendo for Sony. That would be the last straw.

I'm really hoping it's not 90% Smash Bros. Like, yeah the game's cool and big, but it's not the ONLY game Nintendo has in the works. (Plus, they make it sound like the Wii U version is the only version worth getting, and I don't own a Wii U and don't plan to in the near future...) I'm hoping for some news on Legend of Zelda and Mario. I have this feeling they're going to do something with Mario Sports of some sort, but I don't know. Call me crazy. Anyway, the only thing I have in the back of my mind that I've been trying to suppress because I don't want to get excited for something that probably won't happen is Nintendo giving details on an Animal Crossing game for the Wii U. That's the only thing I can think of that would make me purchase a Wii U in the near future. However, I'm hoping they don't do what they did with New Leaf, which is tell us about (or tease) a game two years or so before it will be released. (I remember at a recent but not last E3, they had the Animal Crossing logo on screen with a ton of planned 3DS game releases, and then didn't talk about it for MONTHS.) Well, come to think of it, Super Mario Galaxy 3 for almost any console would also make me very happy. Or Super Mario Sunshine 2. Wait, no. They would probably do something that would mess up the game if they made a second Sunshine.

@IxC I'm kinda hoping I won't be, but I'm trying to have low expectations. The thing I'm most curious about is the mysterious Mario Maker thing that surfaced recently. I really wonder what it will be (besides an app/game for making Mario levels, presumably.)

This and the new 3DS smash bros are the two titles I'm looking forward to most right now. It's going to be a good summer!

So this does mean that playing Wii games on the Wii U won't have the WiFi connection features either?

I'm just going to say it. I pretty much hate the Wii U. I'm a Nintendo fan, but it's a complete flop. The Wii wasn't done when the Wii U came out! Sure, it was dying out, but it wasn't done. I still love my Wii. I literally just played Wi-Fi on it this morning, and on my DSi yesterday. I play the old versions because they're fun! Also, I have ENORMOUS expectations for MK8, since MKW is one of my top 5 favorite games of all time. If they nail MK8, I'll consider buying a Wii U. Otherwise, Playstation 4 here I come... (Since staying on the Wii isn't an option anymore...)

On a side note, the Wii Mini is a f***ing joke. And yet, I've heard stories of people buying it instead of the Wii U. So good job Nintendo, you effectively killed another ten thousand or so possible sales...

@3dcaleb I have played many pokemon games and visited the site a lot. I'm just saying it wasn't necessary to write an article about the website redesign. websites get redesigned all the time. i'm sure people would have noticed the changes without the article, and there are certainly better things to write about

Just bought some - time to add them to my growing collection of Nintendo posters from the Nintendo Power Mario Guide, Club Nintendo, and various posters from Prima Game Guides shamelessly and proudly displayed on my bedroom wall. Man, Club Nintendo rocks. Especially the free shipping. It's like really good icing on top of a delicious cake of product marketing incentives cleverly disguised as rewards. Hey, the strategy works! I will admit I once bought a game to get more club Nintendo coins... (I justify it because the coins brought me up to platinum status. That's ok reasoning, right?)

The only reason I would ever buy a game overseas was if it was a year before we got it, and it was in English (or French, I speak both.) Otherwise, I seem to be the only one here with PATIENCE!

@alurabear May? No... This article is old. May was when the eShop was going to open two years ago. It's open now. Flipnote Memo isn't coming in May. If it comes this year, I'll be surprised. I haven't heard about dear old Flipnote at all for a good year and a half, and Flipnote Memo, well, it had it's weeklong buzz last at least two years ago and I haven't heard about it since. Sorry about your Flipnote account, by the way. Maybe you can try to get it back? Until then, consider getting Inchworm Animation. It's awesome! I have had it for a while (it's a DSiWare game, but it is on the eShop too) and I love it. Not only can you animate in a very advanced way, but you can also use the 3DS (or DSi) camera to film small (no audio) video clips, or to make a stop motion. (Stop motion, in case you didn't know, is when you take picture by picture and it makes it like an animation. It's what they use to make toys look like they move on their own. Instead of drawing each frame, you take a picture for each frame). It is also able to animate in full color, export as a file you can edit with popular computer animation programs, and tons more. I highly recommend it. It's only $4.99 from the eShop. Make sure you have a fair amount of space on your SD card to save your animations to when you finish them. Hope this helps! Enjoy!

I wanted to go over and tell the salesguy he was totally wrong and he shouldn't be selling 3DS games, but instead, I didn't. He will learn his lesson when the guy returns it.

@pntjr Google Maps isn't actually coming to NES, and neither is Angry Birds. But it still would be a good idea to get it back, if you keep it in good, working condition, it'll be worth a lot someday! I use my mom's all the time. I play Yoshi and Tetris. Anyone else play Yoshi?

Yay! I can't wait for Electronic Entertainment Expo! It's my favorite "geek show" (in a good way, geeks, like me, are awesome, especially if they're Nintendo fans!) of the year! This year, I'm going to watch Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo at E3 online! I can't wait for June 5th! It's on every calendar in the house (even the digital ones!)!

Too bad I already have one. Mine's Fire Red. I don't know if I would have bought Cobalt Blue anyway, though, because it has a Fire Emblem logo on it. I have the Midnight Blue DSi, and my brother has the Midnight Blue DSi XL.
