Marvel & Disney confirmed at SDCC that nobody who's connected to the X-Men will be in the game (Deadpool included). The main reason for this (& the exclusion of the Fantastic Four) is because they don't want to give Fox free advertising. This is also why neither the X-Men or the F4 got a cartoon or marketing push in the last few years. Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch will likely be the exceptions in 3.0 due to their connections to the Avengers & their inclusion in Avengers: Age of Ultron, & I say 3.0 because Yondu & Falcon are the last Marvel figures for 2.0. We're gonna get 2 more Disney Originals (one of which is a girl for sure). But after that, it's done, no more new characters for 2.0.
In other news, Falcon will get a Power Disc that gives him his Winter Soldier costume. As for Yondu, the only reason he got promoted to a playable character is because Guardians of the Galaxy turned out to be a mega-hit in both the box office & on Disney Infinity (Rocket Raccoon is the best-selling solo figure, & the GotG play set is the best selling play set) & that Yondu already had a model ready. It was really a matter of adding more details.

@UnseatingKDawg We're not getting Deadpool, but not because he would increase the rating (which he wouldn't).
