@Windy I agree with your statement regarding the city to city travel thing. It is something that I noticed. The locations being on separate islands instead of one big area is definitely a downgrade. I still love this game, but I am able to call out its shortcomings.
I am enjoying this game a lot... Even though I got it on Steam, I'm sure the Switch version is at least ok... Right? RIGHT? HELP ME OUT HERE! Ahem... Sorry, don't know what came of me there. There are aspects from the 3DS original that I do miss plus the story is predictable, english VA sucks really bad, moving buildings isn't easy, and the farming life is too easy, but I still enjoy this game. Ginormosia, man... That takes the cake as my favorite part of the game. I also like the treasure groves. Level-5 clearly wanted to give players more to do compared to the first game. I do hope we get a DLC with the locations from the first game... Or even a remaster with improvements from this one. It may be lackluster in a lot of areas but I still think it's a good game, the optimization (at least on PC, I'm sure Switch 2 will be fine too) is surprisingly good for a UE5 game (we all know how bad UE5 is performance wise usually). I do hope we start to see updates for the game to improve some of the more disappointing parts of the game like balance and the lack of pets.
