I don't think any of us old enough to remember saw the Super NES original DONKEY KONG COUNTRY coming. It was famously revealed at Shoshinkai (if I remember rightly) running on a huge screen, but the console it was running on was hidden from the view of the audience by a non descript box. The crowd and the press hushed as they thought they were getting their first true taste of 64 BIt power, Nintendo were finally demoing the much hyped ULTRA 64, the myth was finally busted, and a few more jaws dropped when the box was lifted and running this beautiful looking game was the humble old SNES. Ahhh what a moment.
@Vriess I wouldn't pass the game of so quickly Vriess. You should really give it a try. It is a wonderfully therapeutic experience, and has a different tone to any other game I have ever played... And of course we wouldn't show you the best bits of the game in the trailer
Hello all. I had the dubious honour of directing and shooting this trailer and it has been an amazing experience to read all the positive comments on here and across the internet. Thanks so much for all your support.
F-Zero GX HD could also contribute to nobody giving a doodoopoopie about Nintendo any more, most notably Nintendo themselves. The introduction of the VC on Wii, was a really welcomed addition to the console, and served to back up the Wii's first rate line up of full price retail titles. With the Wii U, Virtual Console IS THE SOFTWARE LINEUP. This really is a joke. I mean how many times can we pay for Donkey Kong on NES? Remakes and re-releases can love off, invention is what we need.
Oh dear this really is a strange turn of events. Afterall Capcom need to realise that the number of fans die hard enough to want to get involved in the actual development of a beloved series is going to be a far smaller number than the fans who are going to buy it. Would I like to be involved in the development process? No. I can't be bothered to create my own levels in Little Big Planet, but that doesn't mean I don't want to play other people's creations. I like Mega Man, and have actually missed out on the entire Legends series and was looking forward to picking it up on 3DS. This really is a strange conclusion to a process which genuinely felt like it cared for its fanbase, and after the uprising of the single save state of Mercenaries it seems Capcom have some grovelling to do. I'll accept your apology in the form of a brand 3D Ghouls and Ghosts. Who's with me?
This is awful, not only for resale and preowned markets, but often I like to revisit a game years later and want to wipe it clean in order to start the game from scratch. This really is a step in the wrong direction.
Oh my goodness, you know what I want to see? 3D into the screen shuriken throwing bonus stage, Come on Griptonite. Its staring you in the face. WELCOME TO BONUS STAGE...Just imagine it...
I was totally new to the Trackmania experience before playing this Wii installment and I am very impressed with the 'perfect racing line' mechanic, very original, very fresh, and very bloody frustrating. Oh go on then, just one more try. Possibly the greatest 1st party Nintendo racer, Nintendo never made. Brilliant

Re: Radiant Historia
@tealovertoma, this may be a little late but my local Grainger Games had a brand new copy for £25. Sweet
