@BLD ? And what's your point? I know Prime was a complete success, hell, Prime 1 is among my most favorite games ever. Prime Hunters as well and Prime Pinball? I don't really care about it. The difference is that back then, the community wasn't as toxic as it is now. Back then, those same people who disliked Prime still gave it a chance and hey! What a great game! Nowadays, those same butthurt people still refuse to play FF because hating the game became popular. That was also proven when those same fans were trying to sign petitions for Nintendo to cancel the game. If you ask me, that's being butthurt and stupid. There was no need for such childish acting, people failed to realize that FF is a spin-off for Christsakes, the bigger title will come eventually. How could Prime Pinball be ignored? Simple, it was not the first game after 9 years of waiting. Hunters was around the corner, as was Prime 2. With FF? It was the first game after the atrocity that was Other M. I understand the hate, but the action taken in response was childish and immature.
It's just sad how the other critics play the game just to reinforce the bad aspects of it. When they are done they just write their articles and give the game a bad score. Just how sad and pathetic can those critics like IGN or destructoid be? Theirs are very bad and biased opinions (I know because I read ORAS review) and should not be taken seriously but sadly they are and that is a reality that's hard to ignore. FF has been a truly target for controversy but because of the Art style and the co-op mechanic that is very different from classic Metroid titles. Yet, I cannot say that this game truly is garbage without actually playing it. The problem mainly consists in that players find a game they find great and expect developers to stay by that idea, to recreate that same experience over and over again. Though they criticize true repetitive games like CoD or FIFA. Yet when they take that experience and tweak it a bit in order to try and give that same satisfying experience in a different approach, players get all angry and worked up because it is not what they wanted, because developers don't stay the same. Is there no common sense? The 3ds lifespan will end soon. A shooter like this is obviously a spin-off from the Prime series, besides, why would Nintendo waste resources when the Nx is just around the corner? Is there no common sense that Nintendo is saving the original Metroid or Metroid Prime reveal until then? Come on people. I will try Federation Force, and I am really looking forward to it. I applaud to the attempt at innovation and I humbly request to stop whining and actually try to give this game the credit it really deserves. (This last request is only for angry fans)
@Yasume That isn't really diferent from Nintendo haters. Let's not forget that IGN praises real garbage games like CoD and calls truly great games repetitive and boring. Like they say, you can't spell ignorant without saying IGN. I wouldn't trust IGN reviews not now not ever.

Re: Metroid Prime: Federation Force Power Bombs in Japan
@jimi I played Federation Force and pretty much liked it. The fans are at fault for denying change and being so butthurt over a spin-off.
Re: Guide: Meching Sweet Chaos In Metroid Prime: Federation Force
