@Axecon It was never a trilogy to begin with. The series has been around since the Famicom and had entries on the Super Famicom and Game Boy as well. Each game was named after its system, so "Famicom Wars", "Super Famicom Wars", "Game Boy Wars", and of course, "Advance Wars", called so because it was on the Game Boy Advance. The DS game in Japan is called "Famicom Wars DS" (don't know why they didn't go with "DS Wars"), but the numbnuts at Nintendo of America were like "let's call it Advance Wars again because people think that's what the series is called!" These are the same people that brilliantly removed the subtitle from FE7 in America to make people think it wasn't a sequel despite the first FE game having a subtitle in Japan. So basically, NoA made the series confusing for American gamers.
