@Munchlax Because it was a gameplay teaser. The point was to focus on the world and showing his face wasn't really needed. If you look back to even BoTW's earliest trailers they barely showed his face. It's just a trailer style, didn't really mean everything. You can even see he has the screwed up arm in the shots where he's wearing his blue tunic in the gameplay trailer.
