I’m glad so many people were able to preorder successfully… but my experience was completely horrible. Best Buy put me in a queue for 2 hours only to inform me at 2am they had already sold out. Target and GameStop both let me put a Switch 2 in my cart and checkout, only to rip the item out of my cart before I could complete the transaction. And I was using one-click Apple Pay, is it too much to ask for an item to stay in my cart for 10 seconds during checkout?
Hopefully I can still get one directly from Nintendo, I registered in their queue on 4/3 so hopefully I can get a preorder invite before launch day in June. If Nintendo can’t sell me one by their official launch, I think I’ll just pass entirely. I already built a PC 4 years ago that’s still faster than the Switch 2.

Given Nintendo’s track record of killing their previous consoles, I don’t trust key cards. I’d rather buy on a different platform or not buy at all.
