I actually think Keldeo is pretty cute, and I'll be trying to get him from a Gamestop myself. I live in Canada, and I've never seen an in-store promotion here, but we go across the border regularly for shopping so I'll stop by the Gamestop there and check it out.
(Even though they constantly pressure me into buying/pre-ordering games/joining their membership club despite being from another country... :/ )
The ad was pretty cute and funny. Honestly, though, I'm not a fan of rich, gorgeous women trying to sell me make up, clothing, hair products, diet plans, etc. and I'm not really a fan of them trying to sell me video games...
At least the ad was tasteful and quirky, though, so I can forgive them.
Oh yay! I loved the idea of this game when I saw it on the Wii, but really wished for a 3DS version. (There's something about the Wiimote controls that don't mesh well with me..) Very excited for this!
I read "rhythm-based weapon shop management game" and was instantly intrigued. Definitely interested, especially with the Level-5 logo stamped on there.
Definitely very excited for Paper Mario and Pokémon Black 2. I'm also interested in the new Freakyforms and Harvest Moon games, but those may have to wait a tad.
But a ~very girly squeal of joy~ goes to Paper Mario: Sticker Star. Can't wait!
Well darn, this is something I've always wanted to see as a Club Nintendo reward, but unfortunately I don't have enough coins. Oh well, congrats to everyone who's gotten one!
I would be okay with this. While competition breeds innovation, combining skills can lead to a much higher quality product overall. I'm not sure it would be a Monopoly either, as there is still the PC, mobile, and the new Ouya as cammy mentioned.
Also, if their powers combined, it might leave some room for new developers and new competition to get their foot in the door, as creating a new console is very difficult when there are already three powerhouses.
Not that I find this to be particularly likely, but I think it could have positive results.
That's a fun idea. I'd like to see what other people do for curiosity's sake, as apposed to using it for game hints, and it seems like that could be funny. "They did WHAT..?" Although I don't come across other players very often, so this feature may not be applicable to me anyways.
Pokemon Conquest was brilliant if you had little or no knowledge of Nobunaga's Ambition. Had I been a fan of Nobunaga, I probably would have been crying in a corner. But I wasn't familiar with the series, and therefore the horribly inappropriate crossover brought me (and continues to bring me) an obscene amount of joy.
I would love to see a crossover between Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and Harvest Moon. "Freshly-Picked Tingle's Frantic Farmland". Oh, the possibilities.
Congrats to both the buyer and the seller, (assuming the prototype cart is actually legit). While I personally think that's an exorbitant amount of money to spend on a NES game, I can understand the importance to collectors.
I'm not usually interested in action shooters, but Nano Assault is absolutely gorgeous. Since I never played the original, I'll definately be keeping an eye on this eshop version
