^Oh, really? But seeing the list of games we can register for 3ds in club.nintendo, at least bird mania is available there, and I live in Europe. How can I do that?
Turn-based battle system? Tactics? I can't believe I'll finally buy one Rabbids game but that's too many functions for one game of this series, so I'm a little suspicious. I'll keep and eye on this one.
I think this year will be their best E3, tbh. I'm with BenAV, I never felt so excited for E3 like this year, and it can't be much worse than their last one. I want release dates for some 3DS games ( and DQX), new announcements for 3DS, and specially their online strategy for Wii U.
TLoZ: Majoras Mask has 27 characters...if you add "Remake" we have 33 and "The legend of Zelda" has 19 if you count the spaces... they are making a new Zelda for 3DS, so the remake could be for Wii u
Why is SE releasing all of their games in the next two months ?
As usual, the old man is thinking, and his sexy secretary with a big cleavage is inviting you to enter...
It was surprising to see Nintendo announcing one game that wasn't in development(SSB)...It was the first time they have done it, i think and Wii U trailer confused me a little... But this year will be their best E3, imo.
I saw some TV ads for this game and Mario Party 9 this weekend... it was a bit silly to make people chose between two Mario games at the same time. Oc I don't live in Uk, but it must been happening the same thing there...
@Wheels2050- Well, you will be able to see my smile .... Did you ever gave money to some institution ? Do they need to eat the food in front of you for you to believe ? Cases like this, are a need. Someone that has a job and chooses to make his own path should be able to take the risks. Also, do they show the bills, or how the money is divided, or how and where they wasted the money? Hm...20.000$ just to polish the game, or for that time, you are paying for his lifestyle and all of that? Do you know that? I would like to know.
@Wheels2050- We can't do everything we want. Independently? One guy may live alone in his house but if he has someone who pays everything for him i don't understand where Independency fits in. Let's donate money to some secretary to see if she opens her own company. I have many dreams too, one of them is to pay my house. Can you donate some for me, please ? Work and do things for yourself, at least, that's why I'm trying to do. If you want to donate money, it's your money, and you may have differente ideals, but that idea just doesn't work for me, and i don't agree with it. Using your name to take advantage of that is somewhat pretentious .
I agree with @Mercury9. But even worse, is when some developer leaves the company they were working for, having a great job, and then use his name and the games he was involved to ask for donations. That's not in any way comparable to those who are creating their first project or that can't find a job but actually want to produce something.
It would be great if Nintendo had their own identity with their controllers. Although they innovate in each generation bringing new things to the table, they also usually create the most uncomfortable ones. I think the classic controller pro is really their best thing to date, precisely because of its simplicity.
Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect. Those games' sales literally contradict your entire point. Try again.
Assassin's Creed has been losing quality every year. And i think we can all agree with the fact that AC is multi and yes that attracts a wider range of gamers than Zelda. In the end, all of that helps... about Mass Effect, please stop comparing them.
@KKslider- Mass Effect trilogy has one of the best Sci-Fi stories ever written. You can't even compare Mass Effect that has such a complex world with Zelda. In ME you explore, but you also have a lot of dialogues, informations while you are doing that. Nintendo does not have enough material and content to split one game into three... and SS showed how annoying a game +20 hours can be because it really is annoying. Meaningless exploration... just that.
I know lots of people will disagree with me about this - as some people will happily play through any Zelda game no matter how long, but it's about the way in which the content is added to the game, and having a huge story that can get boring towards the end isnt the best way to appeal to other games.
You are confusing the story with meaningless exploration that only exists to make the game look longer. Zelda stories are actually quite simple. The problem is, you need to go here, then there, here again...
Take Skyward Sword as an example. Nintendo could have easily released this extensive adventure as a two-or even three-part quest.
Are you serious? I don't know about you, but i certainly don't want to spend money in 3 games if i can buy only one and fully enjoy it. I don't think Zelda is the Kind of game i would like to play every year tbh. Great series sure, but I don't love Zelda to that point. There are other things in the market...
We still don't have 3DS prepaid cards in my country . Players choice line only came to the stores this year. When i tried to buy Dkcr for the first time, our stores didn't had any, because first it was solding out in the uk, and the guy from game directly said "That's their priority"...Let's not start about the contests and activities they do to promote their games and embrace some community of gamers. And you know, we still need to play the majority of our games in english.
It's actually quite surprising to see that 3DS sales in Germany( (750k as of march)and France (761K as of december) are "almost" the same in the UK. I thought things would be different, the way Nintendo treats UK as their "favourite" EU market...ignoring the rest of us.
@HappyHappy- I only noticed that about the lums in the shooting me softly level, but probably because it is a little slower than the other versions, so you have more time to catch all the lums. In the first level everything is normal, I think. And it's interesting since the mosquito levels were a lot harder to get all 350 lums.
@BlueBana- Agreed. Playing with the D-pad is somewhat uncomfortable, the 3D effect is nothing special and it's slower than the other versions. Also in shooting me softy lvl, when you catch the last Lum king, the music doesn't play entirely( some seconds of pure silence)(?). Really disappointed, although it looks stunning.
@James- Maybe, catching those little bugs in twilight princess, or picking up a fairy to put it in a bottle would be nice with this. But only for a certain part of any game i guess. Using this concept over and over again and messing with two controllers all the time would be a little irritating, at least for me.
@Zenarium - What a despicable attitude. Just don't take your opinion as a fact, and seeing your comment it really shows your so-called "experience in the world of videogames". Characters from niche genres and games that many gamers don't even know who or where are they from, adding the fact that we are talking about a trpg ... it's really a game for a 6 to 10 year kid. What an arrogant and obnoxious guy.
I don't think Nintendo would be nice about pricing Ds games and most of them are cheap at the moment. Of course some are hard to find, but the majority belongs to a niche genre. We just stopped playing them last year...
I'm quite surprised to see this. It's not my kind of game by any means, but the anime style may make a costumer. Anyway, It's great to see more support.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?
A boy and his blob and tales of the abyss(3ds). I'm almost finishing both, but i'm having more fun with the first one.

Black Yoshi? That's the first time I hear about it.

It's a fun idea for some mini games, but for a truly single-player experience, i find this pretty useless.
