The last generation with consoles dedicated solely to gaming was the GameCube era. Now, consoles do so much more than that, and they probably won't go away any time soon

@VeeFlamesNL Tap Jump is important because you can jump out of shield in smash. Having tap Jump on allows you to immediately do up-smash or up-b out of shield which is a staple for certain characters.

Somehow, I feel like the appropriate thing to do is to spend the day playing smash bros. That is how I will mourn.

I just hope that nintendo sticks to it's 5 year console cycle and releases holiday 2017; the Wii U still has some life in it. (unless the NX is a handheld)

One of the biggest flaws for me in the video was the bullet points near the end. Why do the sentences start In lowercase letters? Also the bullet that reads "proper account - and reward system" ; Who is to say what a PROPER account system is? That would imply that Nintendo is sorely disappointed in their current account system. The word PROPER is also region specific. It's not a word that we use often in the US, it would be weird for them to use a style of speaking that seems region specific as opposed to a more neutral word choice.

People are forgetting that once you unlock the amiibo specific things you can give the amiibo to a friend or trade them in. Amiibo shortage solved.

I once showed Mighty switch force to a friend, and his reaction was : "so, let me get this straight, you are playing a game where you collect little blonde girls?"... (-_-) way to ruin the game for me man.

Maybe if they (edit: third parties) actually spent time making decent games for the wii u they might see better numbers. Even Mh3U was a port but at least capcom made the game worth the money instead of watering the game down. ALSO BETHESDA LOTS OF SKYRIM FANS ARE ZELDA FANS WTF BETHESDA?!

wait i found my excuse to get a 2ds... its going to be my cheap import 3ds. Im going to get bravely default ff early.

I know that the 2ds will do well. Personally im trying to find a reason that i should buy one. I think the design looks quirky and for some reason Im really feeling it. Sadly my xl outclasses it in every way. I will probably try getting one if it has a decent battery Life of over 10 hours.

Must resist urge to buy another #ds system......

So far im only interested in xl special editions. I wish they still had pikachu when I got an xl.

Gamefreak is messing with the metagame and that being said i am super hyped. Especially for the worldwide release because now everyone and everything online will be chaos! Well at least for a few weeks.

I bought an xl from target when they were doing that $165 thing with them. Best upgrade ever! I would definitely buy a used one from Nintendo though because i think it comes with the same warranty as their new consoles.

I love mh3u. I really want 4 though. Playing with my friends is the best part of the experience for me and when this comes out i can actually play online with them because they all have both versions of the game and i only have the 3ds version.

......No disney. Just no. Maybe if you made your power disks more like power figurines then I could see people trying to collect them but DISKS? Disks just seem lazy and I couldn't care less about your powerups. I bet you expect people to pay for the ability to see their health bar too.

I dont think that multi-platform indie games would be as important as unique indie games. the selection of indie games on the ps4 and xbox are nice, but i don't understand the draw if I can download those games on steam already.

Blunt objects are not weak. You just have been hitting the wrong part of the monster. I main the hh and the hammer and I am offended that you think I can't kill monsters as fast as someone with a slicing weapon.

Edit: also concerning charm tables, I'm on 9 which is really good for the ranged weapons.

I wish that the 3ds wasn't region locked. The first Pokemon taught me how to read and since I'm learning Japanese now I keep thinking that playing Pokemon in Japanese would help me brush up my skills.
