Re: Nicalis: "The eShop Has Turned Things Around for Nintendo"

Joco84

I believe that Nintendo need to take the eShop further and make it more user friendly.
I know that they like to be different with their stuff, but it needs to be easier to search for new stuff and not confusing sections of games that come under categories such as "games that would be ideal while trapped inside a box".

They need to have simple sections like:

  • New this week
  • Top 5 3DSWare Games Chart
  • Top 5 Virtual Console Games Chart
  • Top 10 Game Boy Games Chart
  • 3DS Demos
  • 3DSWare Games
  • Game Boy Games
  • NES Games
  • etc,etc

I dread each week going onto the eShop. I shouldn't feel that way, but I do unfortunately. They need to be able for people to find what they're looking for quicker - not searching random places for games they might enjoy.

@Mario_Party_Fan_999 I saw that on Amazon, but they seem quite pricey. Always hesitant to get something that costs £30 only to find it doesn't work or the battery life is poor.

Re: Mighty Switch Force Gets Release Date

If it's £5 - £8 price range, it's a Day one purchase for me.

Shantae is currently £10.80 on eShop, which works out at around $15. On iOS, it's about $3!!

Things like that make me sick!!!

Pushmo (Pullbox in EU) is undoubtedly one of the best games I've ever played on a handheld. I've played it for 2 hours solid so far and can say that it is a joy to play and well worth everyones money.
Give yourselves an early Xmas treat and buy this great game NOW!!!

Re: Japan's eShop Gets Its First Demos

Joco84

In all honesty, I think 30 plays is too generous on Nintendo's part. Should limit it to 10 plays, encouraging people to actually buy the game rather than rinse the demo.
If someone doesn't like a game enough after 10 plays to actually buy the game, chances are that they're not ever going to.

Re: Shifting World Flips 3DS Upside Down in 2012

Unless this seriously expands on the iOS games that cost about 99p, I don't know how in the world they can demand a retail price for this.

I cannot see them expanding on the existing format, but I can see them trying to charge £20+ for what would cost no more than £3 on iOS or £7.99 on eShop

Re: Review: Captain America: Super Soldier (3DS)

please can people stop supporting companies who make crap like this on nintendo consoles. save your money for the likes of Cave Story 3D, Crush3d, Shinobi, Resident Evil Revelations - these 3rd party games actually give a damn what they play like and deserve your money.

Re: 3DS Ambassador Certificate Will Keep You Informed

i'd like to also add that the GBA games are likely to be solely 1st party titles. All the NES games were and all the so-far announced GBA games are too.
I've heard people asking for Chu-Chu rocket and Tony Hawks, but I doubt we'll be seeing them on there.

Re: Talking Point: eShop Card Delay Proves Nintendo Still Doesn't Get It

Joco84

it's a case of so many fires for nintendo to put out, they've can't put them all out at once.
complete sh!t show from nintendo as far as the 3DS launch has been concerned. they rushed in to get it out before the PS Vita but they just weren't ready - now us early adopters are ultimately paying the price!
