Update: GAME has responded with the following statement:
At GAME we guard our customers' details very carefully. We have thoroughly investigated the hacking claims made today by the website Pastebin, and can confirm that they are entirely false. The published email addresses are not registered users of GAME.co.uk, and there has been no breach of our database security.
We would like to assure all our customers that their details are well protected, and advise anyone who has any questions to contact our customer services team via the website, our Facebook page or Twitter account.
Original story:
If you're a GAME.co.uk customer, you might want to change your password now.
According to a text file that's surfaced online, login details of accounts for the retailer's website have been obtained and posted online.
Of course there's no way to verify this without trying out some of the accounts, which isn't the most ethical thing to do, so just to be on the safe side you may want to change your password anyway.

changed!
Good job I buy all my games from Amazon now!
I'm confused by this because GAME doesn't have login names, you use your email address, don't you? And the passwords are all encrypted anyways?
EDIT: Ah, that's the Catalyst version. Searched pastebin for GAME.co.uk logins and found one posted two days ago. Doesn't appear to have mine on there. Will change it anways.
@nick_gc You use an email address and password, and both of these fields have apparently been pinched and put up online in plain text.
This is just for Game.co.uk not other Game Group websites right?
Thanks for the info, wonder how long it'll take GAME to let their customers know!
Trying to change my password leads to a page with a load of code and crap.
Story updated: it was all a hoax. Fnar.
Hoax!!! I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THIS! Still Changed
Pastebin, the hoaxes are supposed to be saved for April 1st.
Maybe they just wanted the publicity.
I suspected this story was a hoax the moment I heard Sony wasn't involved.
Sees the article's thumbnail Dang, I just lost!
Your details are not safe anywhere anymore! Least this was only a false alarm. @2 the day will come.
