Nintendo makes it hard to want to support them sometimes. Between this and their handling of competitive Smash lately among other things, it becomes more and more evident all they really care about is having complete control over their IPs, even if that extends to trying to erase and manipulate history regardless of whether or not it actually harms the company in any way.
Sorry, but there are some horrendous takes here. She absoultely deserved to be paid more, and Hideki Kamiya has acted so incredibly immaturely, blocking and thretaning people on Twitter (even those who are on his side) and disabling then re-enabling his account out of spite, I wouldn't feel right supporting someone like that.
It may not be the same music - but I think giving Jun Senoue a chance to arrange new tracks for a classic Sonic game, in the style of the original Genisis tracks using the original equipment he also used back then, seems like a good thing to me. I'm excited to see what he does for Origins!
Nintendo and other companies have made some dreams come true in the past, so I hope they can do something here as well. It's certainly not as easy as just 'giving' him the game, but I hope they can give him something.
FWIW the developer (Fred Wood) initially wanted the game to be free, but apparently Nintendo don't allow free titles without in-app purchases on the eShop currently.
From what I've played of it, it seems pretty fun. As someone who grew up with Big Brain Academy on the DS, it's great to see this IP get utilised again after so long, I'd say if you enjoyed the DS game you'll probably find fun here too.

Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, Wednesday 9th February
I'd love some more info on Splatoon 3, really hoping it releases at the beggining of this year and not later on.
