I feel like it is a replacement for the digital deluxe promotion, not club nintendo. So disappointing that we get nothing for physical purchases. It is such a dumb program that I don't know why we had to go a full year without any kind rewards at all. That all being said, I was pretty happy to get SM64 for free, which I wanted anyways, but it is overall less generous than when we had CN and the digital deluxe promo combined.
Am I the only one who really enjoyed the concepts introduced in Metroid Blast (Nintendoland) and would like to see it fully implemented in a more hardcore AAA 3D Metroid title? I thought some of its game mechanics were unique and would lend itself well to a full release, like the ability to hang onto the hovercraft.
Metroid Blast caused me to imagine a full-scale multiplayer Metroid game in the same vein as Destiny, with online mulitplayer modes including co-op missions, raids, horde modes and PvP, except it would be uniquely Metroid and include some of those aforementioned game mechanics that would set it apart. I kept waiting for something like this to happen on Wii U. Now I anxiously await it to happen on NX.

Re: Feature: Five Franchises That Deserve A Fresh Chance on the Nintendo NX
I also wanted to see an HD Endless Ocean for the Wii U. I think the game would have used the Gamepad really well too.
