@-Juice- Actually Dynamax is only banned on the Galar only Metagame (The ladder that allows only pokemon that are in Sword/Shield). Dyanamax is actually allowed for the ladder that includes all pokemon. The issue is that this mechanic is incredibly imbalanced for singles matches and one mistake can easily mean that your entire team gets swept with little room for counterplay.
