I spend a lot of time working throughout Europe and sometimes I can be sat on a bus for hours on end. Just having access to games like The Witcher 3, Doom, Civilization, and Diablo on the go - on top of Nintendo's first party lineup - is absolutely worth any graphical downgrade. I could never have completed The Witcher 3 in particular if it had not been ported to the Switch.

Mario and Rabbids 2: Rabbid Fire

Second playthrough of Fire Emblem, this time on the Golden Deer route.

I'm in love with this game.

Playing through 9 again has been an absolute joy, so these will both be day one purchases along with 7.

Hopefully 8 arrives at some point in the future too.

It took me by surprise but I'm really loving the art style! Link's Awakening is one of the few Zelda games I didn't play as a kid so I'm all over this.

Final Fantasy on the switch is going to bring me so much joy.

I didn't have a Wii U so the ports were essentially new games for me, however my highlights were all towards the end of the year regardless. If they can improve online and add some good third party support to the numerous first party titles coming then we could be in for the best year in a long time. 2018 was good, 2019 will probably be on another level.

I was ten years old when I first got the chance to play OoT and it absolutely blew my mind. The N64 is my favourite console and I still go back to play it whenever I feel that pang of nostalgia.

I've always been curious about trying out Civilization, especially as I used to play Total War for hours as a kid. This seems like the perfect time to give it a go.

I travel a lot for work and don't tend to bring my laptop so having the option of plugging in YouTube to whatever TV I can get my hands on is just a nice option to have.

Finished the game last night, as it happens. A wonderful experience which has stylistically stood the test of time.

It was the first console I’d ever truly owned - I’d shared the Master System and Megadrive with both of my brothers - so I have an immense amount of nostalgia attached to it. If I didn’t still have my working N64 twenty years on I would not hesitate to buy this, with or without the third party games.

Looks great! This game made my fiancée fall in love with gaming, so I have a genuine reason to get this DLC.

I've seen a poster at each of my stops this week. It has reminded me how much I love playing Odyssey, but also how comical it is that we still have a Royal family.

Didn't get a chance to play HW on the 3DS or Wii U, so I'm itching to get my hands on this.

Looks great! Haven’t previously played a MH game, but will definitely be giving this a shot.
