After speaking to many sellers (argos, Asda, catalogue company's etc) they all informed me that they where selling up the last of there stock and it would not be returning next run.
I also contacted Nintendo but as per usual it was a typical smoke and mirrors response.
Given that Walmart in the US have been selling them for $89-99 for a bundle I would say there discontinued or pretty much in the process of heading there. Now may be your last chance to grab a new boxed one.
I ended up purchasing 2 from a seller in the UK in the end brand new in box. But I paid £160 each.. bit pricey
