Beedrill? Really... surely that one's pretty low on the Mega wishlist. Not a fan of the Megas anyway... Wish they come up with some decent new Pokémon instead of messing around with the evolutions of classic ones. Even though the games get better the actual Pokémon seem to get worse with each generation.
5700 games...you couldn't ever play them all... and probably wouldn't want to. I find it hard to find time keeping up with new release. Even if I had the money, surely its better and a lot cheaper to just buy the games you want from somewhere else.
Not what I was expecting... but then the GC controller is 2 generations old and there should be other options. Why design a game in 2014 that works best (for a lot of players) with a 12 year old controller? Likewise why go to the trouble of allowing the Wii U to use GC controllers and stop short support wise and have it only work with SSB... Surely some assurance of future support or plan to update for VC. I get that this is a good thing for SSB fans with a load of GC controllers but if your not in the group... this is currently a bit of a why bother moment at least for now. That said I'm loving SSB 3DS though controls aren't as good a the GC, but I'll give the Gamepad and Pro controller a go before ruling this as a huge mistake for SSB U fans.
Voted for Harvest Moon... haven't had a new HM game since the GBA days, about time for some farming fun. Think Pokémon is the only other game I'll get on that list.
Although I can appreciate what Nintendo is trying to do here. I think the concept of N3DS exclusives is a big slap in the face to early adopters. This is the first time I've ever heard of a company creating a console revision that creates new games that can no longer be played on old versions. The N64 expansion pack was at least an affordable addition, now Nintendo want you to buy a 'new' console to play new games.
@El_Scorpio Couldn't agree more. Regardless of console revisions, I always thought upgrading was a choice. Can't believe Nintendo are releasing 3DS games that won't work on my original 3DS.
53 weeks of Smash Bros news, reveals and screen shots. As much as I love the franchise surely this much hype is going to mean there's so surprises left. I get that this is probably one of the games to save the Wii U but... even I'm loosing interest in this game. Got the 3DS on preorder... but might give the Wii U version a miss. I'll be fed up with SSB by Xmas.
@TheRealThanos To have any trade in value, I'd need to trade in now but the N3DS isn't out for ages (actually has no UK release window) because N3DS games won't work on it. So who's going to buy a seconded hand 3ds or XL that will potentially no longer have any new releases ? Plus dropping GBA support from the DS is not the same as dropping future support from the original 3DS. The very least I expect when I buy a console (especially from Nintendo) is that whatever revision they do to the design, I will still be able to play all the consoles games without needing to buy again. Regardless of the improvements that have been made this is still a 3DS. If you want to upgrade fine, If you want to buy a N3DS as a new customer fine but the people who are happy with the version they have are being forced to upgrade to play new games which is the sort of things fans don't expect from Nintendo and I've been supporting them all my life.

Exclusive games. Bad call Nintendo. Way to treat your fans. Spend money on a new version or you can't play new games. At least all other remodels of other consoles have been a choice and never affected the games you can play.
The figure line up you've all been waiting for is here... Wait??? is that a Wii Fit Trainer??? And no Zelda figure. Weird Choice. Apart from the trainer I'll pick up most of those.
I don't get the purist who think non Mario characters is a bad thing. I've been hoping for a super smash kart outing since the GC and considering that Karting isn't something any of the characters in Mario do in their own games I don't see the issue bringing other Nintendo characters into the mix. It's a video game after all let's have some fun with it. The only reason seeing Mario and Yoshi driving around in Kart is less weird than Link is because they're been doing it longer.
A life long Nintendo fan but I've owned at least 1 other console since the GC (Xbox), Wii (360/PS3). As my Wii U sits by my telly I get the feeling I'll be getting another one soon. The funny thing is that if Nintendo competed on a power and franchise level I wouldn't need another console. Next gen power, big multi console titles with Nintendo exclusives (that would be a must buy).
For years I've thought Nintendo have been missing a trick. They really are missing out on serious money by not releases the full back catalogue. I'd throw a lot of money at GC games and N64 not too mention a truck load of others. I'd love Red/Blue and Gold/Silver on my 3DS... really enjoy playing Pokémon TGC... new consoles with old memories.
My one stop shop for Nintendo news... but I can't believe this article exists. Samus' image does not detracted from the gameplay or character. I think Nintendo balances between her image and character very well. I enjoy playing as both forms in SSB and had never considered her sexualised... as even in the Wii U version Samus is still and will always be just a computer game character, purely for light hearted entertainment. Did she need to be wearing less clothes? ... well I'd probably go with shorts too if I was going several rounds with Donkey Kong.
Just can't find the same buzz news like this would once stir inside. Sadly although I will probably buy it I'm definitely on the side of 'another one'?
Had Mario Kart 8 on pre order as soon as they announced the t shirt and blue shell bundle. Loving this news will probably give the Wind Waker a HD outing and bring back some classic Gamecube memories (thought I could always dig out my original copy and play something new). Great promotion.
Smash Bros. should be a console seller, but now people have half a year to buy a version of it on a console they're already likely to have. Some people (like myself) will buy both but this needed to be a shining moment for the Wii U and boost console sales. Nintendo have just given a pile of 3DS owners another reason not to buy a Wii U. Sad days.
Looking at the list I'll probably get all of them. Ever since I sold my GBA I've been dying to give Metroid Fusion another play through, though would have liked them of my 3ds instead... to help them feel like the old times.

Re: Nintendo 64x64: Banjo-Kazooie
Such a shame that BK will probably never get the sequel it deserves...

Re: Guide: How to Unlock the Full Roster in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Ha... who knew the Wii Fit Trainer is actually a really good character.
Re: Gallery: A Closer Look at the Six New amiibo Figures
Weird Luigi pose??? Captain Falcon and Zelda look ace. Glad I won't have to wait long... so disappointed when Zelda wasn't in the first 12.
Re: Official Nintendo Magazine Announces Closure in the UK
I've had the Official Mag in the UK since the N64 days, sad it's over... but as long as NL keeps going I'll be in good hands for Nintendo news.
Re: Nintendo Announces amiibo Release Dates and New Figurines
Glad that Zelda and Pit are getting releases... only got Mario on preorder so far but I'm sure I'll get a few more.

Feels wrong not giving some money for the complete thing... so I happily paid. Think I might play through BK again.
Re: You Can Now Download The Entire Banjo-Kazooie Soundtrack For Your Listening Pleasure
OMG... My favourite game soundtrack of all time... Always hum the levels in my head to pass time. Awesome.
