Don't get your hopes up just yet. It was an interesting topic and all, which many agree with, but the actual staggered release date of the base-game has NOT been officially confirmed yet.
March 2017 is also just a result of a basic Kickstarter requirement. That's not at all guaranteed to be when the game is released.
