I'll be getting this today or tomorrow.
However, I will say this: I'd highly prefer a "physical release," so, if this ever does go physical, I will buy it again. Like that. snaps fingers
I'll support Casper (the one person who designed this).
This AND Eiyuden Chronicle in the same year.
Joyous overload!
Now I only hope this gets a physical release.
I will pre-order this for a day one if its physical, for sure.
Odd, I was planning on re-playing my PS1 copies of these. Scratch that — HD time.
Please O please get physical with this. I'll want to shelf these forevermore, along with my PS1 copies.
Still waiting on my LRG pre-order of the 1st one, which is actually at their warehouse, so that should finally be here soon. Can't have one without the other, so I'll definitely get this 2nd one to go right beside it (& my OG Xbox copies).
Hopefully pre-orders of this will start soon, but they can take their time, what with the bugs. Yet I'm sure those game-breaking bugs will be patched by the time of its physical release. Can't wait.
(speaking of bugs, I truly hope the game-breaking Carth glitch from the OG Xbox was patched in the 1st KoTOR on Switch. I never actually made it past that glitch on Xbox, even though I researched how to avoid it).
This looks cleaned up nicely, IMO, so I don't mind the dated look of the art style. It also runs good on both PS4 & Switch, so I'm happy to have gotten it for both consoles (so I don't have to run my OG copy on one of my PS2s on my WEGA CRT HDTV).
I can see where the Persona games borrowed heavily from this series on the demon system, being SMT is the parent of the Persona series. I actually prefer the darker tone/setting of the SMT games (I even prefer the darker tone of P2: Eternal Punishment over the newer Persona games).
Now, if Atlus would just localize & port/remaster Shin Megami Tensei 1 & 2, I'd be a happy camper. Love the darker story in the 1st SMT game.
Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei kickstarted a few sub-series afterwards, it's just too bad Atlus thought the SMT series was too dark for us Westerners back then, because in those times there was really nothing like it, what with its darker depictions of demons & gods.
Will get to this after I check out SMT V.
Awesomeness! Hear that, Zach?
However, I hope A Blessing in Disguise is getting a physical release like Origins is. Need them both in my collection, along with my PS3 collector's edition.
Not into digital - I like to truly "own" my things, maybe re-play them 20+ years down the road.
YES! (I hope).
I'll pre-order this like that - snaps fingers
...."IF" it's getting a physical release.
I'll hope for the best, but expect the worse.
If they're bringing First Departure, then Second Evolution will likely be next.
Yes! I already have the original DS version, but this is one I still had to pre-order day one — this, as well as Strange Journey Redux & Etrian Odyssey V. I just hope its available at Best Buy eventually, because right now its only at Gamestop & Amazon --- I'm done w/ Gamestop, and don't care for how Amazon's shipments get damaged almost half the time.
I just wish they brought Strange Journey & Radiant Historia to The Switch. Would love to play both on a bigger screen.
I pre-ordered a Switch and Zelda (& 2 upcoming games), but I haven't begun playing Zelda yet, as I've already been involved with a game for a 100+ hours.
However, I tested the Switch with Zelda in it, just to make sure it doesn't have the left Joy-con sync problem, and thankfully, it doesn't.
However, if they do a recall on the left Joy-con (because of the metal box blocking the Blu tooth antenna only in the left Joy-con), I'll switch mine in for a new one anyhow, because they've been saying the left Joy-con could be a problem eventually, even if it isn't yet.
I like what I tested lots. Simplistic interface. My only complaints are the tiny internal memory for this day & age, and, even though the Switch itself is at a decent price, the accessories are a wee bit over priced, at least compared to others.
Otherwise, I'm sure I'll love it.
I've already pre-ordered a physical copy for the Dreamcast, but I will say this: if a physical copy is announced for the Wii U as well, then I'll be getting that one too. I'll support WM all the way. I hope to see more retro-style JRPGs in HD in the future. I am looking forward to Pier Solar HD more than any other game right now. Who knows, maybe this'll even open doors for more retro style RPGs in the future.
This looks right up my alley, especially since I have been in retro mode (I'm actually playing Secret of Mana right now on my SNES). After my first couple Wii U games, I'll be checking this out.

FINALLY! Will pre-order ..... "IF" physical.
But it likely won't be, judging by 7 & 9.

I'll get this for The Switch ... "IF" it gets a physical release this time ... which likely means I won't get it.

Re: Club Nintendo Europe Gives Coins for JRPG Trilogy
If we succeed on the 3rd one, and Pandora's Tower comes to North America, I hope we get these coins. 'Tis good to see Nintendo doing this, regardless.
