With Pandora's Tower out in Europe today, the so-called Operation Rainfall trilogy is complete. Register all three games — Pandora's Tower, Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story — in Club Nintendo and you could get a nice surprise.
Nintendo Lee (no relation) states Nintendo Europe is offering a commemorative coin collection to those who registered all three games. The coins bear their respective game's logo on one side and a symbol or icon on the reverse, and come in a special presentation case. It doesn't matter if you bought the limited edition or regular game either.
Just like the gold Wii Remote Plus that came with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Nintendo would like you to know that "the Club Nintendo RPG Commemorative Coin Collection is gold-coloured only and does not contain any real gold."
We imagine these are limited edition so may want to type in those codes pretty quickly. Certainly better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick, eh?

They look so nice
Hope they come over here.
@Shadow100 You need Pandora's Tower first
Awesome! i assume you also qualify if you have already registered XC and TLS?
Yep. just checked the site, the news is up there now on the front page. Loosely translated: "members who registered all three games (standard or limited editions) with Club Nintendo will receive notification that they are eligible for the RPG coin collection (while stocks last)"
@Mk_II You need to register all three.
"Certainly better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick, eh?"
Hey, is that Reggie? Wow he's quick for big gu... AAAHAHAHAHAAA!! My EYE!
This is why I really wish that Sweden would be part of Nintendo of Europe. Why can't we ever get anything good? I want these so bad, but now I guess my only chance is finding them (for a far too high price) on ebay...
I want Pandora's Tower now. >_<
It's a shame that they don't give you individual coins for each game, because I have absolutely no intention of buying Pandora's Tower but I own Last Story and Xenoblade.
I wonder how much of a sales boost this will give Pandora's Tower? I'm sure I am not the only one who bought the last 2 day 1 but does not feel the same way about Pandora's Tower (though is a bit more tempted now). At the same time while surprises are nice, announcing things in advance allows people to plan.
And now I found out that I left my code for The last story in it's box which is currently ~100 miles away. Please let these last until the end of next week...
Awesome ! I have already registered the first two and my Pandora copy shall arrive later today . A nice offering indeed.
Hurry up Mr Postman, I want dem coins!
Oh, and my Pandora's Tower obviously...
Meh, they didn't look that good quality. Just more clutter in my house.
I didn't get a code in my The Last Story-copy...
Even if this is only for Europe, still great to see that Nintendo actually rewards fans for buying games on their systems.
holy f***
EUROPE!
This is a really cool idea. Hope they bring this idea over. (Although I'd have to re-buy Xenoblade.)
This came as a surprise!
Quickly registered Pandora's Tower and got a message that I will get those coins soon
Yay for getting all these games in the first place and then getting a nice surprise to boot! Awesome!
i also have the 3 games and still waiting for the message
@ArcanaXVI I wouldn't even count on Last Story having a Club N code in NA. That third party precedent has not yet been set on the Wii.
Need these in America!
I need that shiz!
Oh, this is cool! A pity that I don't have Pandora's tower yet. My local shop didn't have it yesterday. So I ordered it at my local shop yesterday, but aren't so sure about the outcome. Whatever happens, I want the game before the end of next week. Hopefully I still can get those coins then!
If we succeed on the 3rd one, and Pandora's Tower comes to North America, I hope we get these coins. 'Tis good to see Nintendo doing this, regardless.
@Gamesake
He is saying "on the Wii" since no Wii third party game is eligible for coins. Of course it is great to see that they are opening up more to support third party 3DS games, as the abundance of third party Iwata Asks also show.
@Zeeroid
I can see Nintendo doing an exception (two if PT is ever picked up, and chances are Xseed or another company might do it) if they want to bring these coins to NA.
Anyway, nice catch for having people give Pandora's Tower a chance. Now we have two more things to envy NOE for.
Wish Pandora's Tower was coming to North America, The Last Story is on June 19th
