The Tegra X1 that powers the Switch may have been released in 2015, but the components of that SoC, the ARM Cortex A57 and A53 cores, came out years prior.
2012, in fact. The Tegra X1 is a 2012 SoC paired to a Maxwell gpu core, which was released in 2014.
The base components of the Tegra X1 are well over a decade old at this point. Saying the SoC is a 2015 part, while true to some extent, really glosses over what is holding the switch as a console back. I mean, Switch isn't even getting the KotOR remake, we have to be content with the original Xbox version..
I have no faith that we'll see full fat CoD on Switch, best case it gets a warzone mobile port. Maybe next time Nintendo can use parts that aren't already five years outdated on day one of their next console launch.
