My nearest game closed and was moved into a sports direct, it's more toys and geek merchandise than games now.
I usually use CEX to trade but the trouble is CEX dont sell newly released games and you usually have to wait a couple of weeks. Game was always the viable alternative in this situation for trading-in.
If they do this then it'll be the end of them for sure, I for one will no longer go to the store, I'd literally have no reason to.
I missed out on this when it first came out due to finances and now it's forever out of stock (UK) fingers crossed this restock means more coming for the rest of the world too!
Not sure it's worth saying but I think the reason why so many games haven't made it to the nes and snes switch apps is down to online functionality and getting it to work over an online network.
Because up to two players can play these together they have to make sure these games are supported by their online infrastructure.
That said, it could also be down to lack of staff supporting this initiative.
Either way I still find both libraries to be rather lacking. There are many games from my childhood missing.
Where's New Ghostbusters 2? Where's Zombies ate my neighbours?
Should do a where to buy witcher 3 the cheapest post! It's still an exceedingly pricey £50 in the UK at retail. I don't have the SDCard space for the game on download which is on sale at the moment -_-
As someone who has worked and is working on the Nintendo Switch I can understand why they would turn off this feature. The hardware runs on shared memory, so anything taking up resources (RAM in this case) is going to bottleneck other systems (performance in this case).
Having the recording system on means the game is always recording the last 30 seconds of gameplay, storing this raw footage in RAM, this means less RAM can be used for other important parts of the game primarily GPU or CPU related instructions and data.
I support them removing it and possibly having it as an option with a warning that it'll hit performance if turned on.

Re: Soapbox: Where The Heck Is Fallout 3 On Switch?
Taking advantage of the TV show momentum and hype around the brand right now to release on switch would be an absolute no-brainer move from them.
I understand there's a potential remaster but I'd just be happy with the current version of the game ported to switch much like we got skyrim

Just like GTA V, I have to ask, how on earth is MK8 still in the top selling charts? Doesn't everyone and their mum own this game by now?!
