Yeah I've gotta say, the only people defending Digital Foundry are clowns incapable of having a single thought of their own. They NEED stats to tell them a game is good or not. Rather than forming their own thoughts and opinions.
Seen it a million times. "Oh Digital Foundry says it drops a frame every 20 seconds. Guess I'll pass or wait until there's a sale".
How about using your own eyes, your two brain cells and forming your own opinion without a "technical analysis" that talks about things the human brain can't even see? Tragic, honestly.
@sixrings No. That's not how reviews work! Games should be judged with the understanding of the limitations of the hardware they're running on. You're reviewing the hardware and/or software as it is, not what you wish it was...
1. Why would I watch content from a channel I don't enjoy?
2. Yes we all want a new Nintendo console. That's not what the video is about though!?
3. Comparing a game running on the current gen switch to a game on a PS5 or a Nintendo system that does not yet exist is redundant. We know it's going to run better on more powerful hardware. Shocking!
Digital Foundry just dislike the Switch at this point. It's fairly obvious that whenever they analyse a switch game it's going to be mostly negative. They're why we can't just have nice things.
Yes we know the Switch is underpowered, give it a rest.
Digital Foundry are the YouTube equivalent of "this is why we can't have nice things".
They're almost single handedly responsible for every mong that complains about a single frame drop that's imperceivable to the human eye, yet act like it's a deal breaker on whether they buy the game or not.
"Occasionally dips by one frame, that sucks. Guess I'll pass". Get outta here.
Every Switch analysis they do is the same. We get it, you think the Switch sucks because it's not as powerful as other consoles. Give it a rest.

@WallyWest "older than". Not "older then".
Also, a female equivalent is NOT the same as a gender swap.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Bayonetta 3
@TromboneGamer I'm not scared. I don't even like Bayonetta. I just think Digital Foundry are overly negative about Switch games in general.
Telling us in every video that the switch version of a game is worse than the PS5 version is like pointing out that the sky is blue.

@Fangleman32 tldr.
From what I skimmed of your essay.
