@arnoldlayne83 There IS Physical buttoms on the pic. They are reflecting the screen too but you can see the volume/texture of the B buttom. Fake or not the patent had physical buttoms too and the idea is that the screen goes around and through it.

@patbacknitro17 I'm glad someone actually does his research here, thanks. I see a lot of baseless assumptions everywhere to a game that's not even out.
@FragRed I don't think there was a way to keep the older plot after the trainwreck of Assault and Command almost killing the series. I can see they giving the next game fully to Platinum through, to "keep the series going". Even if not, it's not like Pikmin didn't advanced the story with 3, it brought back Louie and Olimar just for that, so I can see this going on.
I see this game as equivalent to DKCR. At the time it was made, got a lot of hate from fanboys and the like, but it was well made and ended up growing on people over time, specially after a good sequel was made. I can see the same path going on here, with this game getting a good sequel on the nx too.
I'm just really back they went back to basics and got rid of that horrible baggage the DS game had left us in. Those horrible new characters alone should be enough of an excuse, the Command ones were equivalent to Sonic OC.
