@Kirbybrawl Oh the irony: one of the only things I like about those newer games is seeing/playing classic tracks in much nicer graphics than they originally had. I think they should keep doing the retro tracks, especially now since they will be in HD and will look beautiful, but that should be a separate section. As in there's the main game, and then if you unlock it, there's "Retro Mode" where you only play classic tracks. Or hell, even have "Retro Mode" as DLC for the game where it's a completely separate main menu item.
I'm not all enthused that they're rushing this game out. The should take their time and really make an innovative game instead of appeasing shareholders and naysayers. To be honest, the last two Mario Kart games (MK7 & MK Wii) were the two most disappointing games in the series so far. The tracks lacked imagination, game mechanics had very little innovation, and they dumbed down the driving aspect in order to lure in a casual audience. It became more about who was lucky enough to get multiple blue shells and less about how well you drove. So while I always love the idea of a new Mario Kart game, my enthusiasm is a little reserved this time around.

Re: Video: The Top 10 Mario Platformers, As Selected By You
I think this list is more of an indication of the website's age demographics skewing younger than it is about the quality of Mario games.
Re: Video: We Tackle the Legendary Hyrule Warriors "Master Quest Pack" DLC
I played the game last night and didn't see this new content. Does it download automatically?
