The Wii Fit Trainer is a hilarious character and I think it's awesome that she's in the game, both because she's so out of left field and because it adds another cool female character to the list. I do hope the Animal Crossing Villager has a female option as an alternate costume.
Animal Crossing may be a "casual" game, but these kinds of games tend to attract a pretty hardcore following. There aren't many other games out there that attract as fanatical a devotion, or that are as good at encouraging daily play and long term play.
Gamers who call themselves "hardcore" while sneering at the likes of Animal Crossing and other casual titles are posers. A true gamer knows there's value in all kinds of games and having a wide variety of games that appeals to all kinds of people is of benefit to everyone.

Re: Exclusive: Conker's Bad Fur Day Creator Chris Seavor Is Bringing Rusty Pup To Wii U
This sounds great, so I was very happy to see it's coming to 3DS as well, since I don't have a Wii U and have no plans to get one.

Re: Not All Super Smash Bros. Characters Will Make The Leap To Wii U And 3DS
In the modern world of DLC, there's no such thing as "not enough time."
Seriously though, I'd quite happily pay for character DLC for the new Smash Bros. provided it's reasonably priced. Of course, free would be good too.
