"The final third of the story demands more powerful units, and the requirements for taking them beyond level 20 are borderline ludicrous at this stage. It's here you realise that your starter units - which are low in rarity 'star' ratings - may not quite cut it, and you're tempted to 'Summon'."
And herein lies your problem. Why did you not already have some powerful summoned characters prior to the final third? I have been trying to use the story characters a lot for the challenge, but I had a crew of powerful 4 star characters long before the final third. I spent no money to do this, and I was never even lucky enough to get a 5 star.
I love the review, except for one thing: how did this not get a 10? I am not saying it deserved a 10 or not, but the review seems to justify a 10 when the only complaints are overworld framerate drops with full 3D and that the soundtrack is not quite as good as the first one.
@LordGeovanni DQ 7&8 have not been confirmed. Someone from SE made a public comment in France that they were coming to France, which means Europe as a whole, which means English translation, and likely North America. The only official comment from SE after this happened is that nothing is confirmed yet.
@mudmask Yes, it is pretty easy to do, and I don't usually 100% games. Much easier than in the Metroid series. Just a couple of upgrades were hard to find.
Easily the best week from a digital perspective in a very long time. Definitely getting Binding of Isaac. Dragon Fantasy and Canvaleon are possible future purchases after I learn more. Oh, and I may decide to relive some of my teenage years and get Streets of Rage 2 sometime.
Edit: Why did the last couple weeks suck so much? Couldn't Nintendo work with the developers to spread the love?

Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2016
@wouwter
Everyone who has has played FFE compares it more to Phantasy Star Online or Final Fantasy XIV
@daveh30
Seriously? Poor taste, man. Lots of gamers feel this will be the best 3DS year since 2013.
Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2016
How did you guys not mention the two Dragon Quest games? Not to mention Shin Megami Tensei IV Final.
Re: Video: Here's How Much Those Data Packs for Xenoblade Chronicles X Speed Things Up
About 5 seconds vs. 15 seconds for "fast" travel. Definitely worth downloading the packs.
