Re: Poll: One Year After The DLC, Are You Still Playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

I am currently playing but that’s only because I started anew 3,5 month ago, when I went from working to being a student again! And because I wasn’t actively playing when the 2021 DLC came out, it’s all new content for me now 🤩 (I unlocked the café only two weeks ago and recently discovered the climbable vines!)

Edit: oh but I’m not playing the home designer thingy tho, it’s just 2.0! There’s enough in there to keep me busy ^^ I might buy the DLC later on but at the time of restarting my island, it felt slightly too expensive with my now heavily reduced budget as a student. Again, there’s enough content in the 2.0 update to keep me busy!

@dugan Here's another recommendation for 4S! I tried getting into 5 but the horrible frame-drops, the empty world, the bad transition into 3D and the slow pacing killed the experience in just short of a weeks playing... :/ Wanted to give the series another chance though, so I picked up 4S and had a ton of fun with it for a couple of weeks!

@Lyricana Game development is a rough and long road (often way longer than expected) with a ton of hurdles, and sometimes a team’s vision of what the end product will be simply doesn’t completely hold up.

I’ve had fun playing SB since the very first early release and I still enjoy diving into that vast universe every now and then <3

Truly a shame you cannot feel the same and that it all had such a huge impact on your feels and trust for the devs. In my eyes they’ve been just as passionate and redeeming as the (amazing!) ppl behind No Man’s Sky
