Re: The Pokémon Games Have Had Tremendous Success During The Switch Generation

Chopper25

@YunoboCo mhhh I don't remember that being a problem with ALL the previous Zeldas BEFORE Fujibayashi's era. Only SS, BOTW and TotK have been a problem with fans regarding that "Aonuma logic".

The only example that comes to mind was Wind Waker, and that was because of the art style... not the game's structure.

Certainly there wasn't a problem with AlttP, OoT, MM, LA, TP, WW, Oracles, and aaaalll the Zeldas previous to BotW and SS.

I don't know why it is so hard to admit that TotK was barely a Zelda at all. It may be a good game but it is one of the WEAKEST Zelda games in the series.

Also... Aonuma is just becoming the Rian Johnson of gaming, insulting and blaming fans by trying to make excuses for his own faults and terrible decisions.

Its like the OP said... the weakest ones always sell best on Switch.

Re: Talking Point: Which Games Were Just The Perfect Length?

Also... TOTK overstayed its welcome. All the previous Zeldas are the perfect length.... TOTK is just a slog. BOTW was too, but I'll give it points because it was something new, TOTK was too long, too repetitive, and its wow factor was gone. Who even thought reusing the same map was a good idea? After spending 200 hours on it and looking back... it was a terrible game.
Bring back shorter and fun Zelda games.
