@Daftbomb Don't skip the first game. The 2nd game feels smoother in movement so if you play that and go back to the first it can feel rough but it's a great game. The first time I played through them I prefered the 2nd but now it's the opposite because I prefer the weapons in the first and that it's not as reliant on witch time.

Playing through either game takes about 10 hours and then you unlock ng+ style difficulties (2 in the first game and 1 in the 2nd) aswell as additional challenges. And then ofc you're graded on every battle and as you improve it becomes a real treat to replay the game

I have around 90 hours played in each game on Wii U. I really don't understand why this article says it's okay to skip the first game if you don't care about the story. They're both fantastic and have huge replay value. It'd be a real shame if someone took that advice to heart and skipped it.
