Hopefully they patch the sticker select menu and make it much easier to select them in snapshot mode, than having to flick through the entire list to choose one.
People confused as to why people are buying it a second time are forgetting the game is now not only portable, with additional content, and online multiplayer mid-pandemic... but also because Nintendo have made alterations due to feedback the first time around such as frame rate and gameplay speed to make it a more enjoyable experience. So it's not surprising me in the slightest people would buy it again on a different console.
IGN is baffling for this one. A version that isn’t full HD and 60fps, a version that doesn’t have online multiplayer, and a version that doesn’t have an entirely new 10+ hour side game created as a bonus title… gets 9.6 out of 10. But then once all the above is included on a more popular and accessible platform, it’s now a 7 out of 10. Double Dutch!
Also, to discuss how trees and goombas have cat ears but they “don’t add anything in terms of gameplay”… when they’re just cat ears… summed the lack of logic in the entire piece.
As someone who is considering to start in the world of capturing and streaming myself, this was a no brainer as a starting point.
Plus now when my partner and I are apart during lockdown, we can have one each and on zoom have both our games streaming side by side whilst chatting. So valuable for several reasons at a cheap price.
I wish they’d patch more everyday issues and not just duplicating bugs for the select few. For example, being able to accidentally rub your own custom paths away outside of design mode. The amount of times I’ve gone to pick something up, or fill in a hole, and instead brushed my path away is infuriating. Shouldn’t be the case outside of the design mode. Patch it god damn it! shakes fist
