@RobertCorwen You won't regret it. I'm in my 40s and have never played a Pokemon game. This game has everything and be it caring about the environment (which is a great message), collecting or just being creative without pressure, I can see why this is such a success. I like these type of games in general but could never enjoy Stardew Valley due to game style, Animal Crossing I found a bit boring and other games were just lacking something. Wylde Flowers was probably the last game I really enjoyed because of story and this is the first time I bought a big game on release day. Absolutely worth the money, just sad they didn't release it in December as that would have made winter more enjoyable.
Not into these science fiction builders and still waiting for a type of town builder with cozy graphics that's a mix between farming sim and city builder. Instead of a person taking over a farm, you arrive as a kind of Sheriff in this small run down town that's full of litter and kind of depressing. Your aim is to bring back beauty and find the balance between nature and town living. Every time you catch someone behaving bad, you get nature and building points to improve the town. It could start with kids spraying graffiti on walls and when you catch them, they have to do community work like planting trees, repainting walls etc. Then you have residents dumping litter and when they are caught they help clean up and so on. Eventually the run down town is turned into paradise.
@CarSickKitty I don't get the hype with Stardew Valley as a cozy game and while it's got a lot of content, the graphics are also something that put me off. As I said earlier, I'm surprised not to see Wylde Flowers and far better than Story of Seasons or Animal Crossing. The story and actor voices are hard to beat, but of course after 50 hours of playing it also gets boring and people are praying for Wylde Flowers 2 https://store.steampowered.com/app/1896700/Wylde_Flowers/

Re: Best Cozy Games On Switch
Sorry to say, but a lot of these games are nothing special and pretty boring compared to Wylde Flowers.
