Re: Poll: Which Nintendo NX Games Do You Want to See in the Launch Window?

My Choices:

1- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: This game would bring in a varied audience due to the now-popular open world genre. It appeals to more mature audiences compared to Mario, i.e., teenagers to adults. Plus, it will sell like hotcakes.

2- Mario and Luigi: If- by slim chance- the NX rumors are correct, then having a Mario and Luigi game will be great for the NX. Imagine having an optional multiplayer story, where one player is Mario and the other is Luigi. If the controllers have screens, then an interesting dynamic could be made. On the TV, both Mario and Luigi will share the camera's attention. On the gamepad, the camera is focused on the perspective player.

3- 3D Mario Platformer- Remember what I stated about Mario and Luigi with the camera system? That should apply here too. Otherwise, a new 3D Mario platformer, either Super Mario NX World, Super Mario Galaxy 3- even Super Mario Galaxy 1-2 Remastered- with multiplayer would work finely.

4- Warioware: We don't know the gimmicks of the NX for real now, but Warioware is a guilty pleasure of mine and each game made has exploited their system's gimmicks in very unique ways. (Refer to Touched or Smooth Moves!)

5- Smash Bros.: Super Smash Bros would be perfect as a launch window game as almost ANYONE would play it. Not to mention, I feel as if the NX will be very multiplayer-friendly.

Just to note: The NX would be a day one purchase if it had Gamecube Virtual Console titles. I know issues stem from the fact that the triggers on the Gamecube can provide different responses depending on how hard you press on it, but I have an idea to dodge that. The primary trigger buttons would resemble a hard press, and the secondary triggers would be a light press. SIMPLE. The Gamecube VC should consist of Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin, and later, they should add third-party titles such as Resident Evil 4, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (I know it's mediocre, but it's popular to the fans) and others. The NX launch is incomplete without the online services like Gamecube VC and other stuff lacking on the Wii U to this day.
