It's funny how all the reviews for this game are glowing, yet if you browse through Reddit and see what people are saying about it, you'd get the impression that it's an incredibly shallow and repetitive game.
@MisterMan Same here man. I've put hundreds and hundreds of hours between all the Soulsborne games, as well as a few clones, like The Surge. This game, however, is an absolute mess.
The devs completely missed the mark on the "hard but fair" formula that FromSoft nails with their titles. The combat and performance are extremely rough in this, not to mention that a lot of the bosses and their movesets are ripped right from the various Souls games.
After an hour of playing I completely uninstalled it. I am still pretty pissed that I wasted $20 on this garbage.
Yeah I don't think this game is nearly as bad as the review makes it out to be. Sure, the script and story aren't amazing, but I don't think they bring the rest of the game down that much at all.
@bluemage1989 I played the demo over the weekend, and if it's the scene I'm thinking of, it involves a female character forcing herself onto another female character and groping her against her will.
The scenario played out for far too long and it seemed really unnecessary. Perhaps this will serve a purpose later on in the story. I'm definitely getting the game, so we'll see.

Re: Survival Horror Game Death Mark Arrives On Switch This Halloween With Limited Edition
This looks a lot like a first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG, which seems like it would be an absolute blast. Hope it's good!
